This production and new venture is the brainchild of the award winning and charter member of Old Courthouse Theatre, Becky Porter.

The CabCo. Pretenders
When I was a little girl my mom spent a lot of time helping me pretend. We would act out stories we read, and movies we saw. Sometimes we would even make up our own adventures. We even had our own costumes and props! Looking back I realize that this is where my creativity first began. All that make believe traveled with me into my adult life.
It has long been a dream of mine to help other kids fire up their imaginations through the magic of live theatre. Luckily, I have found other adults who also want to play. Our shared desire to perform for children has led to the creation of the Cab.Co. Pretenders, a group of adults who want to share their talents with children.
I am very excited to announce our first production. It is "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" based on the book by Laura Joffe Numeroff!
The play will be presented in the lobby of the Old Courthouse Theatre on Friday March 5 at 7:30 PM; Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7 at 2:30 PM. Tickets will be $5.00. For reservations call 704-788-2405.
Please join us for this new chapter in the history of O.C.T.
Sincerely,
Becky Porter
