The Antiques Appraisal Fair & Bake Sale


Old Courthouse Theatre will be hosting an Antiques Roadshow like appraisal fair on Saturday June 12th, 2010 from 11am to 4pm. Two items per person, please.
No fine art, fine jewelry, or large pieces. The item must be able to be carried by you as OCT staff will not be able to help carry items.
Antiques appraisals expert, Michael Hansen is volunteering his time but a donation to OCT, of $5 per an item is requested.
No offers will be tendered for the items.

Who is Michael Hansen?
Michael Hansen resident of Concord, North Carolina for 22 Years. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service and an active Antique Dealer for the past 39 Years. I have been involved in appraising for the past 15 Years and graduated from Appraisal Course Associates, Baltimore, Maryland with a degree in Personal Property Appraising. I have conducted many appraisal fairs for customers of First Charter Banks throughout the Charlotte area over the past 4 years. I have appeared on Kovel’s Flea Market Finds TV Show as an expert in both Toys and Early Porcelain. I just did an appraisal fair in Brimfield, Mass. during the September Antique Show with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation. I have been featured in many articles in Antique Publications and Magazines such as Home and Garden, American Log Cabins, etc. My Wife Gayle and I reside with our dog Louis, 7 birds and 20 fish in downtown Concord area. We operate a full line Antique Business on the road from Florida to Massachusetts doing 15 to 16 shows annually.


 

Cabarrus History Walk

Old Courthouse Theatre  participated in the Historic Cabarrus Association's History Walk.in the historic district of Concord on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 1 PM until 4 PM.  Below is some video and photos from that day.
